The Extended Comment window gives you a full-page, unlimited-length place to enter a comment for each day. It is especially useful for logging things such as interval workouts or races splits. You can even use it to keep a daily journal or for anything you want. You open the Extended Comment window from the Extended Comment button on the Run Entry window. Each day that has an Extended Comment entered for it displays with at "+" on the right side of the day on the Calendar window.
